I was introduced to this show over the summer when I was told we would be interviewing the cast as part of my last Disney press trip. I immediately fell in love with the story line, the cast, and the writing.
The show handles the story of a leukemia stricken young girl who has her whole life ahead of her, hopefully. How does the family deal with it, how does she deal with trying to have a career while fighting the disease, and how does she prepare for a future that may include having kids? The show thoughtfully handles these situations, and more.
I can’t wait to see the winter premiere tomorrow evening at 9 pm EST and see where April is in her fight against this disease! And what happened with Leo??
And I met the beautiful Italia Ricci twice, the first time she took our selfie, the second time she joined my family for a picture! We love her!
