@Maleficent, the Blu-ray Combo Pack, is Out Now! @Disney

I saw the movie and I am angry. Angry at Maleficent’s PR team! She is not a villain! Everywhere you looked, before and after the movie came out, Maleficent was cast as a villainess. She may have done some wrong things, but only after she was wronged, only in retaliation! And these things she did were to protect her people from evil, she was not the evil!

OK, she does look a bit tough, but again, once you see the movie you will quickly realize this is not a story about an evil woman, this is a delicious love story! OK, only in some parts. That’s why the best parts of the movie were the tricks and turns the story took that were completely unexpected.

Angelina Jolie was a magnificent Maleficent (I had to do that!). She portrayed the character to the hilt and was a sheer pleasure to watch on the big screen. And Elle! Elle Fanning and her wonderful innocence! She was also wonderful in the movie, I was so lucky to see her for her birthday at Disney Social Media Moms in Disneyland:

And then we had a little re-enactment from the movie!

And that is why I had to have this movie. I almost never received this movie, but I needed a review copy for my very own because this is a movie one must have in their video library! And the digital download is perfect as I love watching movies like this on plane flights!

Lastly, it is the extra items that come out on the Blu-ray/DVD’s that also put this over the top. I greatly enjoy watching the scenes that get deleted from the final copy as movies like this, that I love, could go on for an extra hour, they are always too short!

So get the movie already!
