My new battery pack charger has two ports!
I can be out and about or at a conference, and charge two devices at once! I thought I needed to start carrying two battery packs!
There are two USB rapid charge ports: 1A (5W) port and a 2.1A (10W) port. One is for a phone, one is for a tablet. And to give you an idea of how much power is in this powercell 6000, my iPad can get up to a 75% charge from this device. That is a lot.
These days everyone has a charger on them when they leave the house. At least the smart folks do. I have actually seen folks look for electrical outlets in restaurants to charge their phones, why would you ever take the chance that you might leave it there when it is so easy to buy your own portable charger?
And I remember how happy I was when I got my first portable device charger! Little did I know how useful a two dual USB charger would be! I never leave the house without my phone and tablet, and we all know we sometimes forget to charge everything before we go!
The other difference between this charger and my old charger is that this charger has a built in folding wall charger. I keep my powerpacks in a small bag and I have three wire connections in there as well, one for a tablet, one for a phone, and one for the device to charge. I love that I now only need two!
We travel often and have several devices charging away at night. I can use this one battery unit to charge two devices while I am in my room where I have run out of electrical outlets because my spouse’s Blackberry is charging and at least one laptop is also charging, or my son’s iPod or 3DS are charging! We are full of devices when we are traveling, similar to most of America, so having a built in wall charger, to save on my outlet needs, is a second bonus with my new Ventev Powercell!
