Some bloggers seem to go on car trips regularly. This Toyota trip was my first ride and drive, and I am thankful that it was, as I have been loyal to the brand for over 10 years.
We leased our first car in 2004 because we had issues racing around town with our infant in a car seat with no rent-a-car available. And yes, we had reserved one. As the good manipulative spouse that I am, I used this opportunity to talk the hubby into leasing a new car. Both sets of our son’s grandparents are not easily accessible by public transportation, so of course we got the car!
And I let him test drive three different brands. And then we leased our first Camry. That was my plan all along as my parents are loyal Toyota car purchasers (they currently own a Camry and an Avalon), and I always loved the feel and comfort of my dad’s Camry.
Every three years our car lease is up. And every year we lease a new Camry. We are now driving a 2012 Toyota Camry, our fourth Camry! We did shop around and could not find the same value in any other car. And we have a kid so we always get a V6!
First of all, these 2015’s are gorgeous. Sleek and handsome. And guess what? Major overhauls are done every few years, so this is the Camry model we will be leasing when our current term is up. We will be negotiating this lease one year from December (you know I hold out until New Years Eve to get the best deal!).
Once you decide on a Camry, you have many choices. Regular (full gas) vs. hybrid? Which of the 4 different levels of luxury: LE, SE, XLE or XSE (gas only)? For us, price is a big factor. The items that come standard are of such high quality that very little else matters except as I have said, we insist on a V6 engine. That does up our cost a little bit, but it also gives us more piece of mind.
Safety is always at the forefront with the Toyota engineers. The new Camry comes standard with 10 air bags. That is phenomenal. I also love the rear cross traffic alert and the monitoring for the blind spot! I can’t wait for all these upgrades in my next leased Camry! There is also the Entune system which has been upgraded for the 2015 Camry: you can connect your smartphone and enjoy apps and other data services!
The 2015 Toyota Camry has been improved and enhanced. I was thrilled with the opportunity to learn more about the car I already own, from the company that I entrust with my family’s safety. I am excited to say that I recommend this wonderful car because it is the one I own, and one I plan on continuing to lease, and that was our family opinion before this trip. It is the perfect mid-size sedan, and I can tell you that our lease payment is $100 less than our NYC garage payment, and both are well worth it!
Disclosure: I received transportation and lodging from Toyota. No monetary compensation was received. All opinions are always 100% honest and my own.

The Camry is a nice looking car. Safety is so important – with 10 air bags the 2015 sounds like a very safe car. What color are you planning on getting when you lease your new Camry – the red is gorgeous.

Sigh….now I want to go test drive a new Camry. Problem is I know I would want to take it home and a new car is definitely NOT in the budget right now. Thanks for allowing me to day dream for a bit as I thought of taking the Camry for a spin.

Beautiful car! I can see why you lease one and want to have a fairly new vehicle when you need to navigate those NYC streets. I have rented Camrys before and they are beautiful cars.

The next car I buy will be a Toyota. My mother in-law has a Camry Hybrid and it is nice. We have taken it on a couple road trips and it was a comfortable smooth ride.

This sounds like such a fun campaign! We’ve always been loyal to Fords and Subarus, but the new Toyota Camry looks amazing.

Love Toyota. I wish I had the money to buy a new Sienna, we had such an amazing time testing one out for a few months earlier this year.

I am a typical born and raised New Yorker, I don’t drive and rely on public transportation in the city! Looks like a nice ride though! 🙂

What a beautiful car. Sometimes I wish I could drive just to test drive these babies.
