Star Wars Rebels: “The story unfolds during a dark time when the evil Empire is tightening its grip of power on the galaxy. Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet and are ruining the lives of its people. The motley but clever crew of the starship Ghost — cowboy Jedi Kanan, ace pilot Hera, street-smart teenager Ezra, the “muscle” Zeb, explosives expert Sabine, and cantankerous old astromech droid Chopper — is among a select few who are brave enough to stand against the Empire. Together, they will face threatening new villains, encounter colorful adversaries, embark on thrilling adventures and become heroes with the power to ignite a rebellion.”

Freddie Prinze, Jr. does an awesome job voicing Kanan! And the first episode/movie of this new animated series was terrific, falling in the time line between the third and fourth movies.
Between viewing the movies multiple times, and riding Star Tours at two different Walt Disney park properties, the jump to light speed now feels familiar to me! This animated version brought me right back to the ride which I love! It is also great the way they created a different droid look as they did not want to use R2D2 for this one. And stay tuned for some new Jedi information, they are not done for yet!
My son and I loved this new incarnation in the Star Wars world, and we cannot wait for the full series to start! Tune in this Saturday for this same movie we saw, you will love it too!
Just don’t get caught by the Storm Troopers that seem to be everywhere!
Disclosure: We received free tickets to preview this movie. No other compensation was received. All opinions are always 100% honest and our own.
I will have to tell my grandkids to watch
