“Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” premieres November 7. The action-packed comedy-adventure is about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred.”
I previewed 20 minutes of this movie on my July press trip for Disney. 20 minutes was all I needed to know this was going to be an awesome movie for my whole family. My son has only seen the trailers, but he is also as pumped as I to see the full length feature!
And then, a friend from our group was contacted to review some of the toys from Bandai America for the movie! Firstly, this is a toy company that I love: they made all the Ben 10 toys that I bought for my son (because I wanted them), and the same with the Power Rangers!
Deluxe Flying Baymax
Large and in-charge, this massive Baymax is ready to fly into battle using all his great weapons and features. Towering at 11” inches with a soaring 18-inch wingspan, the Deluxe Flying Baymax features 20 points of articulation, multiple lights, sounds and other fun features such as a launching rocket fist. Baymax comes with a 4.5” Hiro Hamada figure, which when attached to Baymax’s back unlocks additional flying sounds that vary depending on whether Baymax is flying up, or down. Price: $39.99
And to be fully truthful, the 20 minutes that we previewed did not include Baymax, so I did not know who he even was at first! I can tell you that my son still loves toys at the ripe old age of 11 1/2, especially when it has to do with a movie that he knows he will love!
Put the power of Baymax in your hands with the Baymax Rocket Fist. Easy reloading and fun launching up to 10 feet in distance – and soft material on the fist makes it safe, and fun to play! Price: $19.99
The toys just hit the shelves this past Friday and are available at Amazon and other retailers!
Disclosure: We received these toys for review. All opinions are always 100% honest and our own.
And here is my lovely assistant who was taking this review very seriously!
