We were treated to a complimentary dinner at this new Italian restaurant at the CityWalk at Universal Orlando!
And above is the actual fresh pasta that you can see in the open kitchen at Vivo!
For the sake of disclosure, I have to share that I come from a family where if you ask my father how dinner was, he might say he had a lot of food. Translated, that means he liked it a lot because quantity is important to him. Sometimes the apple does not fall far from the tree, for this free meal we had as much food as we could eat! And it delicious!
Some nice spreads for our appetizers and calamari (that got eaten before any pictures could be taken). For our main course we had a delicious lasagna, my favorite: chicken parmigiana, seafood with homemade squid ink pasta, pasta with marinara sauce, and lastly some pork over broccoli rabe.
It was so good, we went back the next night and paid for our own meal. I do not know how else I can better illustrate that this is a great place to go to at CityWalk, we went back and paid full price!
The prices are great, barely more than the hamburgers we were eating in the parks during lunch!
And the kids menu is super affordable:
But it was the risotto with braised short ribs that the waiter mentioned on our first visit that called my name all day until this second visit! And, the pizza my son received was the same as the adult size! Shh, do not tell anyone!

Disclosure: I attended the Mom it Forward’s Family Forward event and received a discounted package for my Universal Orlando visit. I was not obligated to write this post and all opinions are always 100% honest and my own.

I will have to try this place when I visit next. I have not tried this one yet and the food looks very good. Thank you for the review.
