This is a multi award winning show, and season six just premiered!
I have said this before, I had been watching this show and then it drifted off of my radar. I picked it back up again last year at the gym. I had nothing to keep me occupied on the aerobics machines and I quickly caught up on a full season. Luckily at my age I am not embarrassed to be caught laughing out loud while on a recumbent bike, pedaling, watching episodes on my iPhone via Hulu, and laughing away! I fell back in love!
And as a gay couple with a child, I have to say that this show is not at all reflective of our life. We are just not that fabulous. So it is fun to watch, and as I will tell everyone I meet, including Ty Burrell who I met at a movie event, I am so glad the skinnier gay man (played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson) is called Mitchell, and not the heavier one (Eric Stonestreet). Cause as a heavier gay man, the jokes would have been endless!

As much as I love deleted scenes from a show that I cannot get enough of, it is the gaga reel that is the best! With all these comedians, you know the stuff that doesn’t make it onto the camera has to be hysterical, and those are the extras that I want!
Lastly, this was the year that Nathan Lane was helping to plan the wedding of Mitch and Cam. I am happy just seeing him on the screen! That was a terrific episode, you knew the wedding could not go off without a hitch, but the hitches the writers came up with were terrific!

All of my friends watch Mondern Family, but I still have no seen the show yet. I think this is my push to finally start season 1!
