We first discovered Johnny Rockets when we were out of the country! We were on a family trip to the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas, and we needed a break from the overpriced restaurant meals that my extended family loves to enjoy! We found the Johnny Rockets in the harborside area of the hotel, in the adjacent marina, and it was a refreshing break from the over priced meals we had been having! We just wanted a burger and fries and didn’t ant to pay $100 plus for that!

Our son was much younger than and quite enjoyed the dancing and singing that the waiters and waitresses would occasionally break out with! It was quite festive!

We have since enjoyed many other locations, we even hit a Johnny Rockets in Las Vegas on our last trip! We used to have one in the village that my son and I would sneak off too, but sadly that closed. On this trip we went to the Manhattan location on 3rd Avenue, and 56th Street. My son knew the area because his orthodontist’s office is off of the same train stop. While we were eating, I asked him if he thought this was better than the burger joint we go to on the way back to the train after his check-ups. I knew what his answer would be, I no longer even ate the burgers at that other place, they were so small and overpriced (that is an issue for me all the time, everywhere). He asked if we could go here after his appointments from now on, I said of course! He is like me, when we like something, we really like it!
