I received this beautiful package in the mail so I could sit around and eat S’mores all day!
As all cooks out there know, good ingredients make for the best finished product! I start with Honey Maid Graham Crackers. As I have written before, I absolutely love that there is no high fructose corn syrup in here, there is no reason for it to even exist! Also, this is a whole grain product. That is something that I became aware of when I had a child, now I always look for whole grain products! And the honey in this product is real as well. Cause in some products it isn’t!
You have a choice in your S’mores making whether to choose the above honey flavor as I have, or you can use the cinnamon one, or even the chocolate one. They do make some low fat cracker products, but if I even suggested that I used those to make S’mores with, you wouldn’t believe me!
And now, I get to share my secret ingredient in my S’mores recipe:
Yes, regular marshmallows are not enough! I want to go bigger and denser! And then I don’t have to be at a cookout, I can eat my S’mores raw at home!
We will pretend that I don’t snack on the raw materials as I am prepping my S’mores! You can see the folks in my house have different preferences, some like one piece of chocolate, but not me, the one on the right is mine, I need a slice of chocolate on the top and the bottom. The Fluff acts like a glue, it is wonderful that way!
How do you make S’mores? Do you go the traditional route? Do you spice it up and have a recipe to make it your own and experiment with innovative new snacks, like Honey Maid’s S’mores Muffins and S’mores Pops? Whichever way you like, please leave me a comment and share what works for you and your family in celebration of National S’mores day, this Sunday!
And the National S’mores Day Twitter party will take place this Sunday, August 10 at 8pm ET. Use the handle, @HoneyMaidSnacks and hashtags: #ThisIsWholesome, #HoneyMaid to win gift cards, with a grand prize of a $100 gift card!! I will be there as a panelist, and because it is on the computer you won’t hear me eating all my already made S’mores! I buy the big packs! See RoleMommy’s post to RSVP now!
Please visit HoneyMaid.com for nutritional information and other products and ideas!
Disclosure: This is a compensated post. All opinions are always 100% honest and my own. The below picture is from the Honey Maid folks, someone who is much cleaner when she eats her S’mores!
We’re going to be back in Disney on the 10th (SQUEEEEE), so I will have to see if I can hunt down a S’more while we are down there 🙂 S’mores are one of my favs!!
First of all, that gift box is adorable . Second, YES! I wish more people would use fluff!
I’ve never thought to use Fluff on a S’more. How clever is that! My kids love those Grahamful’s, by the way, and they are a great way to take s’mores on the run.
There’s nothing better than a good S’more. Using the Fluff will definitely make it easier to make a S’more, but you won’t be able to get that delicious crust that you get on a marshmallow.
We have a fire pit in our yard and love roasting the marshmallows to make smores. So good. This gift kit is pretty adorable.
Nothing beats a good smore! I only eat them with Honeymaid Graham crackers, there is no other way!
I buy CASES of Honeymaid graham crackers from Sam’s Club each month. We love them! I’m totally going to embrace s’mores this weekend. (And, I totally have the same plates.) 🙂
I wouldn’t complain if I got to eat S’mores all day either! Love the idea of using Fluff for an instant S’more!
We absolutely love making s’mores over our fire pit. We’ve never used fluff, but we may have to try that next time.
S’mores are so good! I wouldn’t think of using anything but HoneyMaid!
I did not know there was a WHOLE day dedicated to smores?! Oh dear! Time to stock up and get prepared! YUM!
I’ve never tried them with the fluff! That’s really smart!
Yay! I love that it’s a national day now. I love s’mores!
That gift box is so cute! Absolutely love S’mores and have never even thought to make them with the fluff instead of marshmallows – will have to try that next time 🙂
I love s’mores! In the winter I use marshmallow fluff instead of marshmallows, but finding actual “Fluff” brand here is difficult.
I can taste charred marshmallow just looking at this photo. I’m convinced graham crackers were created as vehicle for chocolate and marshmallows. Now I want some, gosh darn it!
I love s’mores, I’m craving one now. I’ve never used Fluff for it before (I haven’t seen Fluff since I was a nanny in college and the kids I took care of it loved to eat it on bread with peanut butter), but that totally makes sense to use.
I love S’mores! I never thought about putting fluff on instead.
I will have to try that. Wish we had thought of Smores last weekend at the creek. Would have been the perfect ending to an awesome day.
In two months it is camping season. Can’t wait to make smores around the campfire.
Yummm!! S’mores!! Honey Maid and Hershey are the only way to go! And, the grahamfuls are awesome, I love the chocolate/peanut butter variety.
I don’t eat typical s’mores. I can never get my chocolate to adequately melt. So I whip up a s’more milkshake that it awesome and totally drool worthy.
I love your packaging! I haven’t had a s’more all season! I need one
Oh I love the fluff, too bad we don’t have that here. YUM!!!
I love smores. I didn’t know they actually had a day dedicated to them. Looks like I need to celebrate accordingly.
How fun! I had no idea there was a national S’mores Day – but I am definitely going to be celebrating that one! I love S’mores and it has been a tad too long since I’ve had any!
Who doesn’t love s’mores! Great snack basket!
I didn’t know there was a national s’more’s day! Well now I am definitely making some these weekend. This post has got me craving them!!
These s’mores look delicious! I love the idea of using marshmallow fluff!
I like the different flavors of graham crackers available. If you’re making smores though, you gotta go with the honey. It’s a smores tradition. 🙂
There’s a smores day?! OMG! I need to get a recipe up on my site asap! 😉
I don’t need a day to eat s’mores. We eat them nearly every night in my house. Yum! Good to know though. Now I have an reason to eat more than one tonight.
If a s’more is being eaten neatly in a photo, it must not be real 😛 What a good idea to use marshmallow “fluff” so you can eat it at any time and anywhere. That log box is a so adorable.
Well, now I am going to have to light up the fire pit and have some s’mores! I had no idea there was a national s’mores day!
I had no clue it was gonna be s’mores day soon. I LOVE s’mores and I am ready to celebrate! I have a huge bag of campfire marshmallows just waiting to be turned into a s’more!
Never heard about S’Mores day! Sounds like a plan to me. Those look delicious.
Thanks for sharing! I love S’mores. Haven’t had them in awhile.
Yum! I love anything with smores. Thank you for sharing!
I’m a fluffer too..we keep graham crackers in the house but I haven’t done smores yet. I guess that will be a rain day treat.
The thing I love about s’mores is you don’t have to be at the campfire or bbq to enjoy them. You can simply make them at home on your own time and make as many as you want at a time. Mmm. I need to make some of these now!
I love graham crackers and haven’t eaten marshmallows in so long. Think I’m going to go eat some! Yummy!
Its a National Day for everything! To be honest I dont know another brand for graham crackers but Honeymaid.
