This movie is from 1984. Nerds tended to be bullied and this was a very funny movie on how the Nerds got their revenge. (Similar to the recent Monsters University, this is a universal theme that has been around for a long time!).
We are now in 2014. Tech has taken over. We consider nerds and tech folk to be one in the same most of the time. The message we now here is that what we once considered nerds, we now consider tech geniuses who are very successful!
We think this movie is an old comedy classic that we have seen multiple times. And the lesson was learned! I married a very handsome nerd, and he is supporting our family!
