I love coffee. It is the first thing I wake up to in the morning once I am out of bed.
I do have the machine that makes the individual cups of coffee with those “K” cups, and it is a great addition to my coffee making, but it will never substitute for the real brewing that I need done in this house.
Firstly, I like a very strong coffee. When I use a brewing system like the above, I can add as much ground coffee and make my coffee as strong as I like. Secondly, all year long, my spouse and I both drink our coffee cold from the refrigerator. So for me, I need to brew at least an entire pot at a time so that we have enough for our cold/iced weekend coffee. The K cups are nowhere near strong enough for us, that is for a quickie cup for visitors!
It may not look pretty, but this is what we have to wake up to every morning in order to start our day.
This new Brim coffee maker is great because it also gives me choices. I can brew a whole carafe to leave in the refrigerator, or I can brew a tall mug which will be taken along in the car when we drive our son to sleep away camp 3 hours away, or I can brew a single cup of coffee! Again, while it is not as quick as that “other” machine, with the Brim coffeemaker, I have control over the strength of my coffee, that is essential in our house..
I love how a stand drops down so I can have my cup elevated closer towards where the coffee drips. Because if it were further down there would be a lot of splashing. If there is a way to make a mess, I am always able to find it!
I am also happy to have this coffee maker as an addition to my home, not just because of the several coffee size brewing options I now have, but because it is a far superior system to the cheap brands I generally buy.
And I am old enough to remember the original Brim coffee commercials, “Fill it to the Rim with Brim!”

Disclosure: I received this new Brim coffee maker for review. All opinions are always 100% honest and my own.

I can not survive without coffee and my coffee maker broke a while ago. I’ve been going to Dunkin Donuts every morning, but that’s getting costly. I could sure use one of these.

I’m not much of a coffee drinker. But I love this appliance gives you lots of options!

Looks like a great coffee maker. I need to brew a pot everyday. Single serve cuos are so not enough! 😉

That is a great looking coffee maker. I am not a coffee drinker at all, but that may convert me. Lol

We were just at my Daughters house over the weekend and her coffee pot broke. I don’t drink coffee, but my Hubs and Daughter do. This would make a GREAT gift for her the next time we visit.

It sounds like the perfect mix of a traditional machine and a “cup” one…which would be nice. We have both sitting on our counter at home!

I like coffee both hot and iced. My first morning cup though, has to be hot. After that it’s just whatever mood I’m in lol! I love that Brim coffee maker. We have an old Bunn which I love, but it’s really old and even though it’s been cleaned a gazillion times — it’s getting slower and slower at brewing a whole pot. I might have to sneak and buy husband one for Father’s Day. 😀

My day doesn’t officially get started until I’ve had my coffee. That looks like a great coffeemaker too – I’ll have to look into the brand to learn more.

I do believe you and I are kindred spirits! I need a traditional-ish coffee maker because 1). I like very strong coffee and 2). I need an entire potful each morning, not merely a cup. This maker looks awesome. I’ll have to check it out.

I have never tried coffee. The smell really turns me BUT my husband LOVES it and he would love this! He’s always trying to find the best of all coffee and coffee makers but he refuses the HUGE price tag of all we can find around here! Maybe we can look into this!

My husband is the coffee drinker in the family. Maybe I will have to look into it for Father’s Day. Thanks!

I love that you can make a tall cup or a pot. This post made me remember the old ‘fill it to the rim with Brim’ commercials from when I was a kid. 🙂

Okay I LOVE this coffee maker. The fact you can do single cups or a pot is AMAZING!

I am not a coffee drinker, but this has so many neat features. This would make the perfect gift for my parents for Christmas! What a wonderful machine!

This machine is pretty cool. I like that you can brew ahead as much or little as you need.

That’s a pretty nice coffee maker. I would be lost without my caffeine in the morning.

My parents, and most Finns, are coffee dependants. I have never learned to like it that much really. I have an occational mochachino but that’s all.
