“Available on a 3 Disc DVD and 2 Disc Blu-ray, the #1 hit TNT series Falling Skies is back with all ten 44 minute episodes from the series 3rd season, plus 3 hours of Special Features! Falling Skies season three opens seven months after the 2nd Mass arrived in Charleston. Tom (Noah Wyle) has been elected as a political official of Charleston, but he has his hands full as the resistance continues to battle the alien invaders. The newly formed alliance Tom formed with a new alien race gains them their first real advantage in the war against the invading Espheni.”
I am so excited to be able to share this review with you as the newest season is going to premiere next month!
This is the type of review that writes itself. I have been a fan of the show since the first episode. That is not a surprise as I watch almost every science fiction show on TV. I am thrilled that they have gained in popularity as it is a genre that I have been reading since I was a tween, and one I cannot get enough of in the movies and on TV.
Noah Wyle (from TV’s ER) is the father of 3 boys who survived an alien invasion. His wife and their mom did not. The series is about their continuing struggle to survive, even after the middle son is turned into an alien slave and then partially rehabilitated by the human survivors.
Season 3 has the family in Charleston where Tom (Noah Wyle) has formed an alliance with yet another alien race. This is helping the humans win the war against the “Espheni,” the original invaders, but I personally don’t trust either side! We shall see, I am continuing to watch this great science fiction series to see how it all unfolds for us humans!
I was thrilled when Warner Bros. sent this to me for review because I always want more. That is actually my catch phrase! And this Blu-ray and DVD set has more, 2 1/2 hours more!
Disclosure: I received this DVD for review. All opinions are always 100% honest and my own!
