I just returned from 4 days in Atlanta, I attended the Mom 2.0 Summit conference where Dove was the title sponsor and they did an amazing job! For full disclosure, they are part of Unilever, who also own Hellmann’s. I was a Hellmann’s Real Foodie Ambassador for 2 years and have a tremendous amount of respect for the entire company of brands!
I am invited to many “mom” events in NYC and never participate in the grooming activities. It is too girly! But in Atlanta, I participated fully:
I had a back rub, an exfoliation, a hair styling (that was a full 10 seconds!), and a manicure. Not girly at all, I just never usually indulge, but Dove wanted to pamper us, I did not want to be rude! It was great!
And as always, to show my authentic side, here is the proof that I am a hoarder of Dove soap, my son and I both use the Cool Moisture Hydrating Lotion Soap (with cucumber and green tea scent), this would be thanks to a coupon at Costco, and rest assured this is only part of my supply! We had some of the Dove Men+Care line of products, but I think someone was drinking that as it did not last a week in the shower, and it was the largest size they sell!
Dove also left everyone staying at the host hotel a gift bag:
I was not asked to write about them, and there was no obligation, I just want to recognize all that Dove did for the attendees. The self esteem workshops, the beauty room, and the gift bags are just part of what this Title Sponsor did, they also keep down costs for attendees. I am grateful for their support, and for the great Dove products, several of which are on several shelves in my closets!

I learned about this event way too late or I would’ve attended. After looking at everyone’s pics I sure missed out on a lot of fun!

I haven’t even been able to put my thoughts into words yet, but I was glad to see you there! And yes Dove really went out of their way to make sure attendees took time for themselves which was awesome! And there is nothing ‘girly’ about taking care of yourself, everyone be it single or parent needs to remember to care for themself, so good for you!
