I recently attended an event to learn about a new Bounce product, Bounce Bursts.
Many of us are already used to adding Bounce sheets to the dryer cycle when washing our clothes, this is a new product where we can introduce a fresh smell to our laundry in the wash cycle, a first for Bounce! As a fan already I was thrilled that Bounce had invited me to do this sponsored post for them. And we are a family that could sorely use a product that helps our clothes smell fresh over the long term!
I met designer Thom Filicia at the event. He was promoting the theme of bringing the outside in. That mixed perfectly with the new Bounce Bursts as they are a special blend of floral scents, what better way to represent the outside!
And I especially loved theis picture, a great juxtapostion of the outside street scene vs. the indoor garden!
Thom guided me around the room and showed me how he had designed this space to represent the outdoors inside, and how he had also done so in some of the homes he decorated.
I especially love the cloud scenes and the swinging chair, that is the outdoors! And, the colorful flowers that you see are from fabric that was washed in the new Bounce Bursts, so they smell like flowers! The white flowers were made in an origami like fashion from actual Bounce dryer sheets, so you know those smell delicious as well!
With Americans spending 90% or more of their time indoors, this type of motif is an actual mood lifter. Bounce Bursts outdoor freshness can bring the outdoors indoors by providing moments of mood and energy boosts throughout the day!
Throughout the day? How? Bounce Bursts incorporate a special time released process. Your clothes can smell fresh even if you wait 2 weeks to take them out of the closet after having washed them earlier that month!
And how do you bring the outdoors in? I have tried by trying to grow plants in our apartment, fantasizing that I live in the suburbs like when I was growing up. I have grown carrots and tomatoes, inside my apartment. I love the smell of the growing leaves. Unfortunately the produce from these ventures are minimal, but the smell of the outdoors reminds me of the little vegetable plot my dad let me have on our side lawn growing up!
I might also try this idea, have some astro turf on one side of my living room, and hang my drying clothes from a clothes line. That will not just bring the outdoors in, it will remind me of the Italian cities I used to visit where you could always find clothes lines running from building to building!

So bounce is a scent additive to your detergent? I’m a little unclear on the product. I do like bringing in the trees to decor – pretty!
I love the idea of bringing the outside in and I really love the astro turf idea. I’d be afraid my dog would go tinkle on it, though. LOL.
I love adding the burst of smell in the wash. It seems to work better than dryer sheets for us. (And I love Thom!)

We really do spend too much time indoors, for my taste. I love the idea of bringing the outdoors, indoors! I have photos of plants and actual plants all in my house, because I much prefer outdoor scenery to the inside scene. This product would be particularly useful for small rugs, pet bedding and work clothes.
I love the idea of bringing a bit of the outdoors in! We have a lot of natural elements in our home, including fresh flowers from time to time. I love the idea of Bounce Bursts!
If you install astroturf in your living room, can you please be sure to post before/after photos? 😉 I love the idea of my clothes smelling fresh weeks after they’d been laundered and in a drawer or closet. That alone would make me buy this!
That is so fun to bring the outdoors in. It’s going to be too hot soon for all of us to go out, so that would combat the heat stroke for us!

I received a sample of these and loved them. I like the fresh scents. Normally I purchase rain or ocean type scents but the fruity/floral scents work great too. I bring the outdoors inside by having several plants. In my office especially, I have two that add greenery and color to brighten my day while I work.

I too TRY to grow things indoors. Maybe if the houseplants whined and complained like my children do, I wouldn’t forget to water them. 😉
90% of our time indoors? That’s huge. It does make me want to bring some of the outdoors in… or to go outside right now!

What? The fragrance can last weeks after washing? Oh, I’m all over that. I use the dryer sheets as fresheners around the house, so I can’t wait to step it up and wash with it too!
I really love the idea of freshening clothes while in the washer. Bringing the outdoors in is a great idea.
I tried adding these to the wash and the kids immediately noticed. My youngest grabbed a shirt to get dressed…stopped…sniffed…and said “Ohh! It smells really good!”.
I know their dryer sheets work. I haven’t seen these but am intrigues about the scent!

I love the idea of bringing the outside in. We do live in the suburbs so we have quite a bit of land for growing things, but we also have a lot of wild critters who indulge on what we grow. I think inside planting would be nice!

I need a swing in our playroom! Even bringing in cut flowers from the yard makes my house feel happier!If you can’t get outside all the time- it is important to have the outdoors come to you!
I think dedicating a whole room to ‘bringing the outdoors in’ would be such a creative and fantastic idea! Especially in those cold months of Winter when all you want to do is get outside and enjoy the lush green landscapes.
I am one who love, love, loves scent added to my clothes in the wash. I haven’t tried this new product from Bounce yet, but you can be sure I will be on the lookout for it!
I try not to add a lot of fragrance to my clothes. I know all my friends love too though and I will tell them about these.
I love Bounce! The dryer sheets still smell good after the load is finished so I stuff them in my son’s stinky tennis shoes! 😉
