My family has vivid memories of the magic of Disney — the first time my son went was with my folks, and the first time we went as a family was on a press trip: we all have great memories. On April 11, Nintendo is launching Disney Magical World for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, and “it is sure to elicit that same Disney magic that is living inside all of us.” And wouldn’t you know it, we are headed to Disneyland this week! My son will be taking this Disney video game with us on the plane to play for hours and hours!
“A new life awaits you in the magical world of Disney! Meet and interact with over 60 favorite Disney characters while exploring the worlds of Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Aladdin, and Winnie the Pooh. When you can manage your own café filled with Disney magic and set off on ghost-hunting quests, your life becomes the adventure. Go customization crazy! Build new furniture to decorate your café with, and your own personal room above it. Put together hundreds of Disney-themed outfits with collectable clothes and accessories for your avatar. You can even plant and harvest crops, learn new greetings, and collect Disney character cards. Or, collect magic wands and battle through ghost-filled forests and dungeons. And if that’s not enough, you can get extra worlds, more items, and outfits as additional paid content.”

And my son loves the game. He is a tough guy, almost 11, and he constantly surprises me. I would have thought many of these characters would not be for his age group, but after all I had just shared how he was watching Cinderella after his 3 days of gruesome state testing. He knows all things Disney are to make you relaxed and to make you feel better! My son is my proof that you never outgrow any Disney characters!
I am excited for this game as it gives you the opportunity to just be immersed in Disney. It doesn’t have the drama of Epic Mickey, nor the complications of Disney Infinity, which while we love, sometimes you just want to relax and play with familiar characters. Characters you have probably known your whole life.
Again, the video game is coming with us on our 6 hour flight to Disneyland this week. It is a reminder of our love of these characters, after all, you have all seen me on Facebook, I cannot take enough character pictures, we just love this stuff, it feels like home!
Disclosure: We received the video game for review. All opinions are always 100% honest and our own.
This sounds like you do not have to be a child to enjoy.
OMG I even want to play this game! LOL i wish they had it for the WII too!!
Love how many worlds and characters you can interact with, sure to find a favorite from everyone in the family to play with!
