Fearless optimist Anna sets off on an epic journey — teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven — to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.

And of course, Disney’s Frozen has surpassed the 1 Billion dollar mark worldwide! And won the Oscar for best animated film, and “Let It Go” won for best song!
I was privileged to participate in many round tables at the NYC press event before the movie was released. We had just seen Frozen and I told Idina Menzel right there that her song was going to win the Oscar! And there are witnesses! She was very humble and said she had to focus on the present. We were also serenaded by the Lopez’s, the composers of “Let it Go.” The next time I saw them they were on stage accepting the Oscar!
The combo pack contains deleted scenes which is my primary reason for wanting to own it. I always want more! It also contains “The Making of Frozen.” We all get to see the secrets of how the movie was made in this musical extravaganza:
There are also extra versions of “Let it Go” in this combo pack, by Demi Lovato and in Spanish and Italian by Martina Stoessel (Violetta). Cause if you remember, there have been videos of this song done in many languages!
Lastly, this combo pack includes the Mickey Mouse short, “Get a Horse.” A short so fantastic that it was also up for an Academy Award. And it should have won. I will never forget sitting in the theatre waiting for the main feature and this short came on. An updated 3D version of the old classic (not 3D in this set). I was blown away by this amazing short. I am trying to hold back as I type this, but after seeing this short I was short of breathe, it was that incredible an experience for me!
I expect everyone will be buying this on Tuesday, March 18. It would not surprise me if it sold out during this first week, I am not sure I have ever seen a Blu-ray/DVD release of such a famous movie before!
