Years ago my mom and dad took me to see the movie, Mary Poppins. My dad fell asleep and slept all the way through it. He even snored! I just couldn’t understand how he could miss such a great movie! Thanks for bringing back that memoryβ¦.
Oh that is so cool! I’d love to meet Mary one day too … pity she’s on the other side of the world from me! I recently introduced my nine year old son to the films and he loved it and then he read all the books which he found in the local library. Even after all these years, kids find magic in the story when they see if for the first time π
Oh, I loved seeing Mary Poppins on Broadway a few years ago! By the looks of your clothes, though, you guys weren’t in NY. π I miss the days of shorts!
That is the costume on the first Mary Poppins doll, which I happen to have as a special gift from my mom. She always knew how much I admired Julie Andrews’ grace, gentility, elegance, sophistication, and kindness.
We’ve seen her at the MK, but we had breakfast with her at 1900 Park Fare when we were there in October. My boys weren’t that impressed, though, lol.
Double cool! I was swinging by to enter you giveaway & saw your party! Thanks for hosting!
Lovely photos Miss Poppins looks smart too
Have a poptastic week π
You are always out there meeting the stars. Mary Poppins is very cool, this one too.
Wonderful photos! I didn’t come across Mary Poppins during my trips to Disney, putting it on the ‘next time list’!!

Such a cute Mary Poppins! In the book she isn’t nearly as cute. More like a spinter.
