Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D provides their closest shave yet. Combining GyroFlex 3D, UltraTrack heads and SkinGlide, results in an extremely close and comfortable shave in fewer strokes.

GyroFlex 3D provides three-dimensional-contouring. It pivots around, tilts inward, and flexes outward to adjust seamlessly to every curve of the face and neck, minimizing pressure and irritation.

The UltraTrack heads have three tracks: channels to catch the longer hairs, slots to catch the normal hairs, and holes to catch even the shortest stubble; catching every hair with fewer strokes.

The SkinGlide system reduces pressure and irritation by combining a smooth surface with rounded edges, to glide effortlessly over the skin; and the Aquatec sealing enables the use of shaving gel for additional skin protection.

I received this for review. The truth is, this is not my first time with this product. I had one of these before and I rushed around so much I kept dropping it until it no longer worked. That is my fault. I am thrilled to have this better Norelco model back, I have been using the regular SensoTouch. And while that has served me well, I do prefer this upgraded model.

The truth is, when I first received this, I was not happy. I was using a Braun electric shaver with 3 rows of blades. In my mind, I felt that I knew when I was cutting my beard , I could see the straight up and down shave motion and feel that I was cutting every thing off evenly. Looking at these 3 heads with their circular setting and motion, I could not wrap my head around the idea that I would get a full shave, after all everything is going in all directions!

You know where I am heading with this, of course I have not touched my Braun since (and I had already paid for an extra replacement screen and blade, and I hate to let anything go to waste, but I have!), I used my back up Norelco SensoTouch regular when my 3D broke (again, my fault, you can only drop something so many times!). I realized that it did not matter what my perception as, I was actually getting a closer shave. Not only that, I was able to shave in less time. I am Mr. Rushed so that was super important!

I left you all the printed material above from the company. That is all well and good, great information to have, but for me I want to know if something works, and if it works well. I was thrilled to receive this SensoTouch 3D Norelco shaver again, it does the job I need it to do: I get a smooth shave in less time than any other shaver I have had. If this were not true I would have said no thank-you when they offered to send me one! I do not use the Aquatec feature, but it is a great addition for those men who like the option of a wet electric shave.

I promise to slow down and stop dropping my favorite razor!
