First of all, we have sampled and enjoyed many an RC Helicopter in our day, but the Sky Viper Stunt Quad Copter is something else entirely! It is almost like an alien space craft, it is that cool.

It is like a hovercraft. The quad aspect of this copter is something different and a lot of fun to try to maneuver in the house, and to try to keep steady and floating. This is a hot new toy and I am glad we got to sample one! This four blade R/C Aircraft with hobby grade capabilities is awesome.

VMDs / Vehicles of Mass Destruction

The other item from Skyrocket Toys that we received is from the Vehicle of Mass Destruction line, a Cannon Commando! It has 16 shot rapid fire capability. You can fire a stream of darts on the move and this high powered vehicle shoots up to 50 feet!

Here you see the 2 items together on our floor. We tried to use the Cannon to shoot the Quad Copter, but it takes quite a lot of control to keep the copter steady, and then to have good aim with the cannon.

 

The Cannon Commando is easy to use, it is for ages 8 and up. The Quad Copter is for ages 12 and up and requires a steadier hand. That one took my son longer to get the hang of. Together these are an amazing set of toys for play dates for my son. One of his friends operates the copter, the other shoots at it. I know we are supposed to be anti violence, but these are the types of toys these kids love to play with. This is an awesome set for the holidays, the level of play with these remote control toy has raised the bar and the children will benefit with hours of fun game play!
