My brother-in-law, Uncle Mike, was doing the honors at the grill as we prepared for the summer barbecue feast to celebrate his son’s 20th birthday, my nephew Michael, and my son’s other cousin, my niece Olivia, they share the same birthday! I had warned my relatives that I would be making the sauce accompaniments for the hamburgers today!
I had plain Hellmann’s, the new creamy balsamic Hellmann’s, and my 2 mixes with 1. a spicy barbecue sauce, and 2. a sweet barbecue sauce.
Yup, that is my mother-in-law up above. She ha been dying to get on the blog! She couldn’t wait to try the creamy balsamic Hellmann’s, after all, it was her son, my spouse, who gave us the Hellmann’s on hamburgers idea years ago. Yes, from even before I was an Ambassador!
And above is Mike’s mom, Grandma Connie. She also couldn’t wait to put the balsamic mayo on her hamburger. As much as I loved the barbecue sauce mixtures with my hamburger, the creamy balsamic Hellmann’s was the clear favorite.
I spent the early part of the week toying with some aioli ideas for sauces to use with various french fry dips for this party, but truth be told, even at an outdoor barbecue, my Italian side of the family has macaroni as the first course, even heating that up on the grill! But because I made one day trip to Brussels and fancy myself an expert, we do have various french fry sauces at home with Hellmann’s, my personal best is one where I add siracha hot sauce to Hellmann’s for a big kick! And you know hot sauces help you lose weight while you eat!
I hope I have given you some barbecue suggestions on how Hellmann’s can spice up your party, whether it is with new hamburger sauces, or french fry dips. I know we love it at all of our parties!

And the real star of the barbecue was Hellmann’s new creamy balsamic mayonnaise.
As you can see below, this saves me a lot of trouble, I used to make my own mixing Hellmann’s and either the regualr balsamic or the creamy balsamic from Italy!
This makes me want to go out and get stuff for a bbq soon!
Looks like you all had a blast! I haven’t seen the Creamy Balsamic variety yet but will have to check it out when I see it my stores!
OMG, creamy balsamic! Your BBQ looks like so much fun and tons of YUM. 🙂
Love the idea of creamy balsamic mayo I’ve never heard of it before – yum!
Looks like fun! I have never tried the balsamic version, but classic Hellman’s is the only mayo I ever use!
I didn’t know there was such a variety. I am going to have to check them out. I bet the Balsamic is delish!
There’s not much better than a backyard bbq with friends! The flavored varieties sound neat!
I can’t eat mayo and I’m sad because I’ve heard what they attested to in your post. Mayo on burgers is a really good combo!
Oh wow – that sounds like an awesome product! I would love to try it out in some salad recipes (or even Deviled Eggs to give it a twist)!
we are a Hellmann’s family, but I had no clue that they offered that balsamic flavoring… sounds delish!!! Thanks for the post
oh something new. I luv the delicious flavor of Hellmanns
I haven’t bought that Hellman’s Balsamic; I have to try it!
