I love this park. I love them all, so that is not new information.
I tried the Kali River Rapids in December and decided to copy what I saw some young people doing at that time – go on 2x in quick succession! I would love this ride to be 30 minutes long, but I understand that is not practical. So we got our fast passes and went on once after waiting on line, and then we went right back on using our fast passes! It was a 90 degree day, this was perfect for cooling off!
And then the kids dragged my spouse on Expedition Everest several times. I enjoy that ride very much because while they go on it, I take my Mickey eared ice cream break! And I sit down and rest somewhere. The kids were thrilled to ride several times in a row.
Are you clicking on these pictures to see the hysterical faces?
We also saw the Finding Nemo show, a show I had never had the time to see on my previous trips. I have never seen the Lion King on Broadway, but I suppose this is similar, just shorter, and starring Nemo. It was fantastic. The props, the costumes, the running into the audience, it was great.
And now I am going to talk about It’s Tough to be a Bug. I tried to get into this show 3 times, the fates kept fighting me, eventually I won. I had never seen it before but heard it was good, it was closed on our last 2 trips. Well, it was amazingly well done. The 3D was incredible. But this is what I don’t understand. The 3D here and at PhilharMagic are incredible, why do so many 3D movies fail to achieve this level of intensity and effect when I am buying a full priced movie ticket?
Last but not least, my favorite Dinosaur ride.
We know exactly what’s coming, and yet, look at these scared little babies, and I don’t mean my son and his friend!
Several new experiences crossed off my bucket list, there was a lot of that this trip. I really love this place.
Disclosure: I attended this event as a guest of Walt Disney World. I paid a conference fee and received free park tickets, some lodging and some meals. All opinions are always 100% honest and my own. I was not required to write this post as part of my conference attendance.
What a great post! I can’t wait to take my kids there! I haven’t been there for years!
We just went in March and had a great time as well! The dinosaur ride was a bit too scary for our kids (3 and 8) but they loved the Nemo show and it’s tough to be a bug!
We cannot wait to plan our first trip to WDW! We live on the west coast so Disneyland is in our backyard and we go at least twice a year (since we were kids!). But I’ve always wanted to go to WDW.
Those are the kinds of rides I love going on! I agree with you – seems every movie is out in 3D these days, but not all of them do a good job with it!
We’re planning a trip in the next year or so, my kids can’t wait to visit this park!
