We are fans of McDonalds n this house, it is a treat that both my son and spouse have to earn! We love Skylanders, and you know I love happy meal toys! I can’t wait to collect all 9 of these!
Skylanders have taken over the golden arches! Beginning this Friday (April 12) through May 2, kids and their parents can head over to their favorite McDonald’s within North America, and pick up the first-ever Skylanders Giants Happy Meal which features nine coveted characters from the beloved Skylanders franchise! Later this year the program will roll out in additional select countries.
The $1 billion, award-winning video game and action figure toy line, is launching the first-ever partnership between Activision Publishing, Inc. and McDonald’s to include figures in their popular Happy Meals inspired by fan-favorites such as Spyro, Gill Grunt, Drobot, Chop Chop, Ignitor, Jet-Vac, Tree Rex, Crusher and Kaos, and for the first time the characters (not usable in the game) will have dexterity with their limbs! In addition to these nine collectible characters, the inaugural Skylanders Giants Happy Meal program will also feature a coupon for $10 off the Skylanders Giants starter pack. Even if kids aren’t hungry, Portal Masters of all sizes can head over to their local McD’s and pick up soon-to-be hottest toys around for just $1!
