Disney/Pixar’s Monster University is Coming to Your Local Toy Shelves!

Last week was the annual Toy Fair at the Javits Center in NYC. I was fortunate to attend, and extra lucky to get invited to the Disney Consumer Products session showcasing some of the upcoming line of toys from the Disney Pixar movie, Monsters University. My son and I are very excited to see a new Monsters movie, after all, we used to have Monsters, Inc. on DVD until we wore it out from viewing so often!

And who better to talk about these products than the star of the movie franchise, John Goodman himself! I was that close to him as you can see above. You know I asked for my own celeb shot, you will have to wait to see what happened below! First, I would like to share some of the toys from the new line due out later in the year!

Roll, Pop, and Scare with The Roll-A- Scare™ Monsters Assortment!
Each Roll-A- Scare™ figure is uniquely stylized and has a surprise pop-up activation! Inside each pack you’ll discover a Student ID card that springs your Monster open! It says 3+, is it wrong that I want to collect these as well?

I will happily take this across the hall to have my neighbor’s son review this with me! He is in Pre-K, he doesn’t have to know he is my excuse to play with this!

The Monsters University Sulley Monster Mask!

This Monsters University Row Playset!
This playset brings the fun and excitement of chasing Archie the scare pig through the quad. Set comes with Electronics featuring character voices and Archie’s fun sounds. Featuring two figure disks this set has a ton of fun. The first disk on the bottom floor spins the floor so you can have the monsters chase Archie in circles. The second disk activates a catapult to throw Archie across the set, through a trap door and into his cage. Also featured is a revolving door in the middle of the set for more chasing action! The set comes with Mike, Archie and a Cage.
