Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth is the ultimate super hero brawler set in authentic comic book-style art environments and based on the iconic Secret
Invasion storyline. Players will travel back in time to the iconic tropical prehistoric preserve, the Savage Land, or hop on board the signature ship of the fictional intelligence/defense agency S.H.I.E.L.D. to save the Marvel universe from the Skrull invasion.
Battle for Earth provides endless amounts of fun entertainment for the family through a variety of gameplay modes such as campaign, arcade, challenges, versus and tournament. Players can choose from twenty of their favorite classic Marvel Super Heroes or Villains within the game including all of The Avengers, Spider-Man and Wolverine. Using Kinect and motion gaming, players will use their full body to act out powerful attacks such as throwing arrows like Hawkeye, striking a debilitating bite as Black Widow or hurling gigantic concrete rocks as The Hulk.My son has tried most of the characters, he loves the Avengers, he loves fighting as each of them!

Even though this is rated T for teen and my son is 9, he is a huge fan of the franchise and greatly enjoys playing this video game. It is a little more challenging but not frustrating for him, the Marvel Avengers sell themselves. I saw this game at an event and couldn’t wait to share it with him, I knew it would be a huge hit.

And I will say this every single time I write a review involving the Microsoft Xbox with Kinect. It is my favorite video platform. We all want our kids running around outside, this works for me as great exercise in the house. My son thinks he is playing video games, I think he is getting a workout. I love the Kinect! Here he practices his fighting moves, something he loves to do. And he is a huge fan of all Marvel characters so he is thrilled to be able to portray them and use their powers. This is a win/win for me!
