She meets Snake, Owl and Fox but no sign of the fabled Mouse. He doesn’t really exist…or does he? The Gruffalo’s Child is the sequel to hugely successful film, The Gruffalo.
10-6 Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit Daffy scientist Wallace (voiced by Peter Sallis) and his heroic dog Gromit are doing well with their business, Anti-Pesto, a varmint-hunting outfit designed to keep their English town safe from rabbits chomping on prized vegetables. Wallace meets Lady Tottington (Helena Bonham Carter), who appreciates Wallace’s humane way of dealing with rabbits (courtesy of the Bun-Vac 6000), and sets up a rivalry with the gun-toting Victor Quartermaine (Ralph Fiennes). Taking a chapter from classic horror films, a giant were-rabbit is soon on the prowl, and the town is up in arms, what with the annual vegetable contest close at hand.
10-13 Monster High: Ghouls rule Ghouls Rule unearths an old conflict between “Normies” and monsters – and things are about to get scary! For years, students at Monster High were warned that Halloween was a night to stay inside and avoid conflict at all costs. But Frankie and her friends discover that ghouls and “Normies” once loved to spend the holiday together! The ghouls decide to turn back the clock and use the night to celebrate their individuality and show that it’s okay to “Be Yourself. Be Unique. Be a Monster!”
10-20 Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman are still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple. Their journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent – Madagascar style.
10-27 It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Peanuts, pumpkins and pleasure for the whole family! Will this Halloween be the one when the Great Pumpkin comes? Longtime believer Linus thinks so – and keeps watch all night in the pumpkin patch to welcome him. Charlie Brown gets into the spooky spirit too, dressing up as a ghost with more eyeholes than needed – but not scaring up the usual kinds of Halloween loot when trick-or-treating. Never fear, World War I fighting ace Snoopy is here to battle the Red Baron – and in doing so, crash Violet’s Halloween party and Linus’ vigil as well. Your whole family will be glad it crashed this party. Good grief, you can’t help but have a happy Halloween!
