The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE, it already comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for its operating system and this draws power from the handset’s QualComm MSM8960 SnaoDragon chipset. This SoC brings to the device a dual-core 1.2 GHz Krait and 1 GB of RAM while its storage space comes up to 8GB. It does have a dedicated microSD card slot for memory expansion so the meager internal memory of the handset shouldn’t be an issue at all. As for its display, the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE comes with a 4.0-inch SuperLCD with a qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It also comes with an impressive camera department comprised of a rear-shooting 8MP camera and a front 1.3MP video call camera.
I was treated to a luncheon last week so I could hear about this new phone. By way of background, I want to remind you, my dear readers that I had just written about a Windows 7 phone and was going to move my service from Verizon to ATT. Thankfully, right before I was going to complete the service move, I was reminded that I would then lose my unlimited data plan. As long as I stay with Verizon, I am always grandfathered into an unlimited plan. I am Verizon’s for life. Additionally, Windows 8 was announced and the Windows 7 will be old news in a few months. Not that that would affect me, I do not require the highest tech phone.
One of the remarkable functions about this phone is the picture taking capabilities. Panoramic, shading abilities, and many more. As a blogger who likes to take a lot of pictures on the go to publish on Twitter and Facebook all day long, these functionalities are a great help. Also, I am ready to move to a 4G smart phone as well, the sooner the better!
On the con side I did find the large time and weather display to be a drawback. I would prefer more icons on my front screen than to have the space taken up by time and weather. You can choose 7 different “front” screens, but for me you can only have one Page 1 at a a time.
Disclosure: I received this phone on loan for review. I received no compensation (just lunch!) for this review. All opinions are always 100% honest and my own.

This was helpful as I am upgrading my Verizon phone and have been trying to figure out which one I want. Now do I have this right, if I have been Verizon customer and am just upgrading I get to keep my unlimited data plan. Recent commercial had me concerned that to get a new phone I would lose my unlimited data.
