Yay! Swim shirts for the pool! Can someone tell me why they are called rash guards?
The store I used to buy these at says XL is 14-16. Thankfully I stumbled upon these at The Target I was visiting (while escaping form the in-laws – just kidding!) say XL is 16-18. Phew. My son may not last the summer in the smaller shirts. And I am grateful that he knows he must wear these in order to go swimming. There is UV protection which his sensitive skin needs. My struggle is to try to not go to every other Target in the tri-state area to buy more, I have been known to have hoarder like tendencies!
Can you see a theme? No surf boards for my son. Skulls, sharks, skeletons, man eating octopi – all encompass his taste! Thank goodness they never do this stuff in camouflage!
Disclosure: I received no compensation for this post, I even paid full price!
I’m all for swim shirts with UV protection – gotta protect kiddo’s delicate skin!
We love swim shirts, too! I’m always so grateful for the UV protection they provide.
Pretty sure they’re called rash guards because surfers wear them to prevent rashes..
Have the same white one with the skulls! Great minds shop alike! LOL
And my grandson has the black California Shark Swim Club shirt – after he got a sunburn by not applying enough sunblock he realizes the advantage of wearing it.
I copuld check out the upstate NY Targets for you to see what other designs are available LOL!
