My first thought was YUCK until I saw the box of crickets covered in bacon and cheese. Then I thought, hmmm, I must buy that. Anything covered in bacon or cheese is good in my book lol.
Although I haven’t tried it, cricket is a delicacy in one of the provinces here in the Philippines. They say it’s delicious and it’s known to be an aphrodisiac.
I will never forget when I was student teaching in a 4th grade classroom, and a special science guest cooked and fed the kids mealworms as a snack. Are you going to include them in your next Hellman’s recipe? π

Hmmm. I would have expected crickets to have more nutritional value than that. At least some protein and carbs from the shells.
