Help!
I like blogger but I need to grow up into wordpress and am computer illiterate!
I like blogger, I have no issue with blogger, but feel that wordpress will take me into the adult word of blogging. I need more flexibility and am also cheap so this is quite the conundrum.
Any opinions out there? I am afraid I will not know what to do as I am not a master of the computer, it didn’t matter when I had a small blog, but the blog has grown and I need to monetize.

That really is tough. I am on blogger and love it. It is so simple and I know how to do exactly what I need to… I have been thinking about swtiching over, but it is scary! I would have to pay someone to help me. I look forward to seeing what other people say here….

Mitch, I say To WordPress!!! It took a long time for me to transition on over (from Typepad) but when I did, I wondered what had taken me so long. I can recommend a good person to do the switch effortlessly (if you dont already have some). I vote to make the move. 🙂 It doesnt have to be right away (as in tomorrow), but maybe your long-term goal for 2012…?

I’m on Blogger and have heard good things about WordPress, too. But can’t Blogger still be grown up or is there no hope?

You can monetize on Blogger. What exactly are you looking to do that you can’t with Blogger? Message me, let’s talk.

I have been with Blogger for years and love how easy it is to use. I almost jumped on the WordPress bandwagon but refrained. My hubby has a WP blog and I hate it. I am sure the majority will tell you to go with WP. Just call me old-fashioned but its Blogger all the way for this gal 🙂

I love Blogger too and you can monetize on blogger. I tried WordPress and I couldn’t figure out how to write a post or publish one so I gave up lol. It looks very complicated. But others seem to use it with ease.

I switched from blogger to WP almost 2 years ago. I had a lot of the same fears but I no longer felt safe with blogger after it was deleting blogs after wrongly identifying them as spam. This even happened to a blog much bigger than mine….I’m talking a blog with more than 160,000 fans. I feel WP is really easy to use. To make the transition easy on myself I did use the help of WPBlogExperts.com. They were great to work with and made the transition much easier for myself as well as my readers!
Best Wishes!

I like Blogger, and I don’t think there’s is — or at least should be — a distinction in a blog’s worth based on what backend system is used. 🙂 What are the monetization options for Blogger itself? I see ads here at present which you have the option to display or not display, so what’s the benefit? Are you just feeling an urge to follow the “in” thing? That doesn’t sound like you! 🙂

I dislike how WordPress takes so long in making comments. When you hit the button to make a comment again, thinking it just didn’t register the first time, a message comes up saying, “You can’t duplicate that comment!”
I also dislike how WP doesn’t allow viewer to delete a comment. Lets say I forgot to do something an entry required, I want to delete it and make it right. You can’t do that on WP.
I do know that a lot of people that are on WP like it though.
