The L.L. Bean Bootmobile hit the road and joined us in Times Square to announce a new initiative by L.L. Bean to help get us off our behinds and active!
L.L. Bean is giving away free gear and expert instruction from their Outdoor Discovery School guides for every day this year. To enter, visit them on Facebook or on their website.
Also, for each outdoor moment you share (photo, video, or story), L.L. Bean will donate $1, up to $1 Million dollars, to help the National Park Foundation to help get more kids outdoors. This is an easy one for me, whenever we do not have after school activities, my son goes to the public playground behind his school. It is all I can do to get home out of there when the sun goes down! Now all I have to do is take along my camera to help this initiative!
