My fitness journey begins with this 5 week diary. I do go to a gym on a regular basis, but I also eat more than is suggested for my age and weight. I am hoping this fitness journey guides me to healthier living.
After a satisfying warmup where my spouse commented that he could not believe that we could see me on the TV screen. I especially liked the Hu-la-la, it got me quite limber! I proceeded to the African Rhythms fitness class to see what the next level was all about. I did OK and hope to video this once I have it mastered! My teacher can be seen clearly, and no, I am not hiding behind the tree, I am just busy trying to keep up!
For statistical purposes, and so this is not a total embarrassment, i.e., me not losing weight, I am going to log in my weight every week.
My starting weight is 241 pounds. In addition to logging in my weight weekly, I will be tracking my progress with the tool provided with the software on YourShapeCenter online directly through the Xbox.
I also want to include a picture of what not to do when exercising:
Yes, the Kinect caught me sitting down and taking a breather. My goal is to not have to take a breather by the end of my 5 week journey!
Anyone who comments on any of the 5 exercise posts will be entered into a giveaway of the same video game at the end of the 5 weeks!
Man I need a XBox haha. That looks so cool. I know some people laugh at using a gaming system to exercise but I lost 92lbs with only using the Wii so it can be done 🙂 and You can do it! Good luck and wait to follow the progress
Good luck on your Health journey! The game looks pretty fun!
this sounds like a fun way to lose weight
That looks awesome! I love how they “disguise” your body so you don’t have to see yourself working out. I never wanna watch myself work out in PJs!
LOL! You mean, it caught you doing a yoga pose. 😉 I realllllly want to try this game.
GL on your 5 week journey!

Please don’t enter me in the giveaway as I am also reviewing this game, or my husband is. Just wanted to say hi though and I agree with your husband, it’s unbelievable how real the image looks on TV. The technology behind the whole Kinect system is amazing.
This looks so cool! Good luck!
