This is a book I grew up with. We always had questions which only the Guinness Book of World Records could answer. The tallest, the heaviest, the shortest, etc.
Now I have an 8 1/2 year old son. He is always asking questions. I love that about him, and he stumps me all the time. Now, I am saved, we have our own copy of the latest edition of the Guinness Book of World Records! This book fascinates my son and he can sit for an hour reviewing the various records. Meanwhile, I am thrilled to see him reading anything!
We get a lot of “Did you know…” now in our house. It is fun to see the fascination that kids have reading about the various world records, from the fastest man in the world, to an actual house lifted into the air by helium balloons – inspired by the movie “Up” – for real!
And of course, the paparazzi pic. Little old daddy Mitch and the woman with the largest Afro hairstyle in the world! Thank-you Aevin Dugas, she really is on page 89 of this edition!
You really never know what you will see next from me!
