I was invited to the Times Square Disney Store to view their Top 10 Holiday Picks. The store was dressed up in it’s holiday finest and my son and I had a blast roaming through the store inspecting all the items.

When we left the event there was a line snaking around the corner. Mark Henn, Walt Disney Animation Studio’s renowned animator, was on hand to autograph the top selling items of the holiday season, dolls from the Disney Animator’s Collection. I had first met Mark at a Disney Living event earlier in the year and we got to preview this collection. Clearly the word has gotten out on these fabulous dolls, hence the line for the autographs. What a terrific gift and collector’s item!
As the parent of an 8 year old boy, I can tell you he was very focused on the Cars 2 remote control cars. We loved the movie and my son is always happy with any remote control car, this was a good fit.
I liked the Siddeley Spy Jet Shoot Out Set, after all I have been the toy buyer in the family and have been enjoying my son’s toys vicariously for several year’s now! My son also both liked the Vinylmation Villains, aren’t I thrilled that he likes to dip into the dark side!
