Which crime scene is more ghoulish? You have the choice of 3 crime scenes when you walk into the exhibit. We were warned that some were more explicit and gory than others. My son was undeterred and saw the “dead” body and ran towards it. He is 8 1/2 and is absolutely intrigued by dead bodies, investigations, and all things bloody!
Here are 2 of the possible 3 crime scenes:
You are walked through the process of investigating actual crimes. Blood analysis, entomology (you know, figuring out the age of the worms in the dead bodies guts!), and possible tire tread marks – you determine what happened!
This young forensic scientist was completely baffled until he put together all the clues offered. He figured out the case after all results were presented to him. His investigation was completed and a diploma was received!
We previewed this as of yet unfinished exhibit that is opening in October. My son gives it a full thumbs up, he enjoys this type of thing and didn’t notice it was still under construction. Perfect for your trip to NYC!

My 13 yr old is a huge forensics fan … CSI tends to get a little skanky on the storyline sometimes so she is more of a Bones watcher for now 😉
