In the Kirby Mass Attack game, the evil Necrodeus uses his magic staff to split the heroic Kirby into 10 copies of himself. Players must help Kirby return to his original form and save planet Popstar from darkness by guiding him on a quest through worlds fraught with enemies and obstacles. Players start with one Kirby and add more Kirbys to their crew by gobbling up fruit. With unique touch-screen controls, players can then use the stylus to flick Kirbys to break through obstacles, tap on enemy attackers to swarm them with Kirbys or gather Kirbys together and draw a line to carefully maneuver them in a mass. If Kirbys are knocked out, players can simply gulp down more fruit to rebuild their numbers.
My son spent a couple of hours on this game. He said he got up to 7 Kirby’s. He would still be on it if I did not limit his DS time. He thoroughly enjoys this game and told me to tell the blog world so. That was his succinct review. Boys of 8 tend not to be verbose so luckily I am not paid by the word (unfortunately I am not paid at all!). He says he can’t wait to get back to the game.
He was excited when he saw a commercial on TV about it because now that he has played it and he knows how good it is. I do not play video games and rely on him for the reviews. Any game he cannot put down and wants to pay continuously gets his highest marks, this is one of those games. I am just here to report what I see! It goes on sale now!

Disclosure: We received this DS cartridge for review. All opinions are 100% honest and those of my son. And believe me, he doesn’t lie, if he doesn’t like it, we don’t review it!
