Fashion Friday – Slippers, Backpacks, and Zappos has Clothes!

As a major worldwide wool producer Giesswein combines innovation and tradition, trend and timeless designs, romance and folklore. Thanks to several technical innovations they aim at continuously developing their product range. That’s how they distinguish themselves.

I personally need to be reminded that we should take our shoes off at the door. After a day of walking in NYC I shudder to think what we trail in on our feet. I always walk around with something on my feet but not until I have traipsed across the apartment into the bedroom to change my footwear.

Of course a company that produces awesome slippers is going to remind me to take my footwear off at the door and switch into their comfortable foot coverings. I loved how they reminded us that sheep carry their woolly coat around all year and don’t seem to spend the summers sweating . That’s how we realized that wool, when it is the real thing and a high quality, does not over heat in the summer. These wool slippers are perfect for year round and felt so soft and comfortable!

Did you know that Zappos sold clothes? Didn’t we just think of them as a huge on-line shoe store? Well, the truth is out and must be told. I had an opportunity to see their back to school offerings and they were adorable.
