I do not give technical reviews. You can go to the gamer magazines for that. My review is simple and based on my son, his reactions, his interest, and his playing style.
If you cannot tell, we are going to have to become owners of a Microsoft XBox 360 with Kinect, if for no other reason than for my son to have this game. And I don’t even want to call it a game, it is really an experience for every Star Wars fan (almost all of America?).
He was talking about this game all day. Funny enough, at 8 years old, he has already been brought up on Lego Star Wars games. And we have them all for the DS andWii. This Kinect game is proving that those 2 platforms are no longer enough. From my perspective, the sheer exercise value alone makes this game worth it.
But it is all about my son’s perspective in this case. He became a Jedi Knight. Isn’t that almost every boys and girls dream in America? After all, we have our own Storm Trooper helmet, and 2 light sabers. We have all the movies. But having all the supplies is not the same as becoming the characters themselves. And that is what this game allows. It was all my son could do to contain himself while waiting to play this game and he gives it his highest rating ever!!!!! The above videos say it all.
I cannot wait for the end of the year when this item becomes available for purchase!
