Re the upcoming posts for today, I start with the good.
We have great friends at school, one of whom invited us to the concert which is in the next post. We hung with our schoolmates and had a great time.
I hope I am friends with these parents forever, they are great people and great friends. We have a wonderful community in my neighborhood, we pass each other in the streets all the time and it is an awesome feeling! For this my son and I are grateful.
The negativity we experience during the school year is the balance that we live with. That is the last post. I have to let it go and be prepared to help my son next year. Thankfully he loves his school, I must nurture that as much as possible. And we will keep up with our reading all summer and surprise our teachers in the Fall with our knowledge!
Sounds as if your son has an awesome dad for helping him the way you do! Loving his school is a big plus, I know.
Drake… my goodness I haven’t seen him in ages! Not saying I don’t still watch Nick, though (shhhh!) 🙂
