There’s a 104 days of summer vacation until school comes along just to end it. And the annual problem of our generation is finding a good way to spend it……………
Oh yeah, I can sing the Phineas & Ferb theme song. We love this show in my house. And I have written about the TV shows that my son watches that I feel contribute something positive. Disney Channel’s Phineas and Ferb are not lazy layabouts. They figure out what to do on their summer vacation and they forge ahead with nothing limiting them but their endless imagination. That is a fine role model in my humble opinion.
The Disney Channel is going to have characters and voice talent from TV’s #1 animated series among tweens, “Phineas and Ferb,” in Times Square doing a Broadway-worthy performance the morning of July 11th. Also, they’ll be unveiling a 27-foot, 4,000 pound customized Airstream trailer that will be taken on the road across the country in celebration of the show’s Disney Channel Original movie coming out early August.
The trailer is going to be quite a site to see – complete with bill, tail and googly eyes inspired by Phineas’ and Ferb’s pet platypus, Perry. Passerby and fans can enjoy the performance as well as go inside the themed trailer and play games. There will be “Perry-oke” set up outside where fans of all ages can sing songs from the show.
I would karaoke/perry-oke with Phineas’s sister if I could, we love Candace Flynn’s rendition of “Squirrel in My Pants!”

My son is not quite old enough to enjoy Phineas and Ferb, but we have watched a little a few times. They are pretty funny.
