Zing Air, Z Curve Bow, the New Bow and Arrow!

My son has gone away to day camp the last 2 years. Last summer all he could talk about was how much fun archery was. You should have heard how many apples he shot off of people’s heads! He was only 7 last summer so I don’t entirely believe the stories I hear. But I did believe he loved the sport of archery. I also immediately thought I saw my ticket into the Olympics down the road!

This past week Time To Play had their semi-annual toy event at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC. Bloggers from all over attended. That’s where I met the guy from Zing.

During the presentation I heard about the bow and arrow item, I was immediately interested in finding this item for my son as my sole goal is to keep him as spoiled as possible. It was explained to us that traditional bow and arrow type toys would no longer be made as the bow was becoming too much of a hazard for the kids.

The technology in the Z curve bow is marvelous. You can only use the arrows that come with the set and basically it just uses a super strong rubber band (much stronger) action. As long as my son doesn’t shoot at the squirrels in my apartment complex we are OK!

We went out back and my son kept shooting at signs where the suction cup arrow was able to stick. He was quite happy. We refused his offer to shoot items off of our heads, remember safety first at all times! Especially ours. The other 2 arrows in the set are perfect for shooting at targets to knock over. This is a great set and I hope my son does not find this company’s web-site because they have a ton of other cool stuff for kids!
