One thing struck me with all those events as I caught up with my blog friends and then saw them a few more times! It is time to write an homage to the friends I have made in the blog world.
What a wonderful, supportive, kind, sweet, caring group of (mostly) women. We are all the primary caregivers in our house, that is why I spend most of my time with the “mom” bloggers.
Again, I was struck by seeing many of them multiple times in the 2 day period, what a wonderful group of people. Sure there are personalities and issues, but we are all in it together. That’s the main supportive feel I get from these ladies.
They are charitable, interesting, gorgeous, friendly, and every other positive adjective you can think of. I hang mostly with the bloggers of the NY area but at some events people travel from down South, up North, and from the West that I get to meet. And we are all connected.
There are bloggers I have never met in person and yet instantly like from the way they throw their Twitter parties. There are out of town bloggers that I get to speak with from places like Canada who have great insights and stories to tell from up North. There are big bloggers from down South who come to NY to give me a chance to meet Paula Deen’s delicious sons.
Overall, a great group of people to be able to call friends, a great group of people to share these fun experiences with, and a great group of people to learn from!
Thank-you for letting me be in your wonderful group, ladies of the blog world, Happy Moms Night Out!
This is so sweet and touching, and I completely agree with you. The mom blogger world is comprised of so many wonderful, thoughtful, lovely women – I feel so honored to be a part of it! (((hugs))) I wish we all had more opportunities to enjoy one another – it’s always so fleeting!
It is a huge honor to know you Mitch! You are such a warm-hearted soul. And of course my favorite dad blogger. Xoxo
Great Post! When is the next event? Did I miss all the cool Cinco De Mayo Parties today? LOL 🙂
Isn’t it amazing the power of ‘friends’ known & unknown amazing? Love the feeling that ‘feels like I have known them for years!’
I am not a NY blogger but am very happy to have found you & your cute son:)
