We spent lunchtime today with the Bazooka company learning about their fun new product, Sweet Tweets! As you can see above it is a cute way to say hi to your kid while they are at school.
You write a special note on the tweet paper, drop it in their lunch bag, and wait for their smiles when they come home from school! They will tell you how nice it was to see the small note you left in their lunch bag, and especially the little piece of candy attached to it. My son goes to public school in NYC and believe me, this is the perfect candy. If the school Principal or Mayor Bloomberg for that matter, saw candy that had any more calories than this item, there would be a phone call home! I never give my son candy at school, but this small 3 calorie treat would be perfect and not get him or me into any trouble!
The candies come in 4 flavors, blue raspberry, watermelon, lemonade, and strawberry. Available right now at retail and Sweet Tweet Notes!
Well, if we were going to leave a sweet tweet in our kids lunch bag, we had to make them lunch!
The event was at Taste Buds in Chelsea, in Manhattan. This is the only kitchen studio in Manhattan designed for kids!
They had a full array of lunch items for the kids to make themselves a bento style box lunch (that’s right, bento style, I don’t know about where you come from, but there are kids in my NYC public school that bring chopsticks with them to eat their school lunch, we are the epitome of international!). After the kids made their lunch boxes, we parents then wrote short notes, sweet tweets, and left it for them in on top of their lunches.
I think this chef started off a little hungry!
My paparazzi pic with the chef and his other dad!

Disclosure: I did not receive any monetary compensation for this post, but as usual they did feed us and they fed us well!
That’s a great family photo!
Your son has the cutest smile.
I second that, you look like a regular, nice American family for the 21st Century!
