Rango the video game, in conjunction with the movie of course, is an action adventure game set in a gritty, pint-sized, Wild West world filled with off-color characters, wild rides, and frantic shoot-outs. Players of all ages will meet the residents of the town of Dirt (a place my son lives in most of the time anyway!) and play through Rango’s wacky Tall Tales of Adventure, filled with outlandish scenarios and intense action.
Rango will encounter typical Wild West adventures – ridin, jumpin, brawlin, and shootin, crafted from the film’s pint sized desert scene. My son recently got to review this on the Nintendo Wii in the comfort of our own home:
First off, we loved the movie. I think that is a big draw for any video game, it certainly adds to the excitement of this one. My spouse actually wanted to see the movie again so being able to play the Rango on the Wii keeps the excitement going and kept the 2 of them playing for several hours (there is a video time limit in my house!).
The various levels in Rango for Wii invites players to continue on Rango’s journey through new adventures inspired by the movie. And who wants the fun to stop? The adventure of the video inspires my son, and I am thrilled he identifies with the sheriff and not the bandits!
And I am already asking, when is Rango 2?
Disclosure: I received a copy of the Rango for Nintendo Wii. I received no other compensation. All opinions expressed herein are 100% my own and my son, the video reviewer.
I will take your word for this!
We loved the movie, we are off to buy the Wii cartridge now!
Thanks,
Mike
