I was in NYC, minding my own business at the fantastic “Getting Gorgeous with Degree”event, and I stumbled upon this great new partnership from BJ’s Wholesale and Moe’s Southwest Grill!
Granted, it was lunchtime, and I was hungry, but I can eat guacamole anytime of the day or night. And this new entry into the BJ’s Wholesale family was delicious!
We eat at Moe’s Southwest Grill every few weeks, after all it is right up the block from us and you don’t expect me to cook every night! And I am already a fan of the prepared foods at BJ’s Wholesale, the chicken pot pies being our favorites.
I am always looking for dips for the weekend as that is the time my spouse splurges on his chip addiction. It is easy to keep the spicy Queso in the house for these splurges, but these refrigerated items are far more healthy.
In addition to the guacamole, the salsa was also delish. I make my chicken cutlet dinners more tasty and healthy by using salsa as a topping type condiment. I will need to keep this salsa on hand in the fridge.
The other interesting new taste was a combo of hummus and guacamole! Hummus seems to be the hot dip these days, and pairing it with guacamole seems quite smart and timely. As someone who goes against the grain and is not a hummus eater, this combo was one I found very tasty.
And the last taste sensation was the white bean dip. I hear beans, I think protein. This rounded out the new assortment of dips from Moe’s Southwest Grill and BJ’s Wholesale, all great new items for your next party or snack time!
And don’t forget, here is a free membership to BJ’s Wholesale, courtesy of the GayNYCDad.com blog!
Disclosure: I did not receive any compensation for this post. I did eat as much dip as I could until they chased me away. Story of my life.
I don’t even like Garbanzo Beans and I’m still thinking about that Guac Hummus Dip! 🙂
