Earlier in the week I attended an event at the Museum of Natural History for the official launch of the Born Free eco friendly bottle and recycling program. There is some great stuff out there for babies now: in my time, almost 8 years ago, very few people were talking about BPA. I simply asked my sister-in-law what bottle to use and did what I was told. Now in addition to being BPA free, this company is going the extra distance to recycle their own products when the parents are done with them.
Born Free is a company that has gone the extra distance to thoroughly research the dynamics of the baby bottle. They specialize in developing and manufacturing baby feeding products that combine the safest materials with the smartest innovations. They have a large colic study on their website which I encourage everyone to view, especially if you know someone who is losing sleep over this issue with their child. We did not have that issue, we had other coughing issues later on so I have experienced the pain of not sleeping and worrying about your kid, this colic study is quite interesting as there is additional help for parents now.
Today, in addition to making a great baby bottle, they are making the bottles eco friendly and starting a full recycling program for their bottles. Everyone has to chip in to make our planet healthier, it is great to see this company participating in this way. And until the recycling is available in the stores, they are offering easy ways to mail the bottles back to them for free. Thank-you Born Free for helping the planet!

Paparazzi shot, me with Kelly Rutherford, my favorite gossip girl, hanging out at the event, talking about our sons!
