Yay, they made an even smaller RC helicopter! The Air Hogs Pocket Copter measures under 3 1/2″ from nose to tail (less than 4″ including the rotors). It’s not much bigger than a Matchbox car, and smaller in actual scale. (It does require a lot of batteries, but if you are a regular reader of my blog, you know you can get all the batteries you need for free from Staples, they have amazing battery deals every few months.)
Whenever I take my son into ToysRUs he always asks me to buy him the copter they have zooming around our heads! It’s about time I reviewed one. He loves flying this thing all over the house. What does he care if he crashes into my painted walls? It is actually quite fun for me to watch him. He created his own landing pad with construction paper on the dining room table, thank goodness he let me clear the dinner plates first!
My video attempts did not come out as well as these that I have borrowed from YouTube because my son is a little younger than the recommended age, so we have a lot more crashing than these videos, but perhaps we have more fun!
