Travelzoo Has Awesome Local Deals! Check It Out For Youself!

I attended an event at a local restaurant last evening to learn more about the local deals Travelzoo has been offering. Considering I knew nothing about this other service they offered, it was a timely meeting.

I know of Travelzoo for travel deals, I would look to them for the next cruise my 7 year old is planning for us (where’s the cash for it kid!), but I had no idea they had expanded into the local market for deals that offer “experiences.” This is how they differentiate themselves from a Groupon type service. it is not a straight 50% or so off of an item. It is about paying $49 for an orchestrated meal at a Japanese Tapas restaurant, with a certain number of drinks, appetizers, tapas, and desserts, a package that normally is valued at $159.

I am truly impressed by the offers there are in NYC. As you know from reading my blog, I am cheap, I mean thrifty, and always on the lookout for a deal. Travelzoo’s local deals are a natural for me to talk about for that reason. And it is easy for you to decide for yourself, check out the site for yourself. Don’t believe anything I say, you can easily decide if this is something that fits your life style, if there are offerings that meet your needs, if it is worth your time to check back every few days or weeks. For me, the site sold itself. Just take a look. And if your area is not represented, know that they are constantly expanding across the country.
