Should I start with the trials and tribulations of just trying to choose a spot for dinner?
We picked the spot yesterday so the 7 year old told us it was his turn to decide today. Yeah, when you’re paying!
We ended up at a Chinese restaurant. A natural for a mixed Jewish -Itaian couple, we both grew up with this cuisine!
We took his Nintendo DS because we just didn’t know what we were in for.
We do not usually take electronics when it is just the 3 of us, but tonight with the mood swings going faster and faster, we figured we were just safer.
He dropped the DS stylus on the floor. I became immediately perturbed, as I often do. But the 7 year old was prepared. All of a sudden he takes a piece of spy gear out of his pocket and it has a laser light, and he spots the stylus immediately.
I must say, I did not expect that. How do I not love this kid?
Lol!!! I am cracking up at Paul being prepared with his spy gear! Ha! Always equipped for emergency situations – I love it!!! 🙂
Imagine how perturbed you would have been if he had to crawl around on the floor looking for the stylus. Smart kid!
When you least expect it and are ready to blow….they show you they’re on top of it!
