My favorite reviewer called it Sesame Street for adults. That piqued my interest! So I attended blogger night on Wednesday and had a chance to see for myself.
Racy talk from puppets. Real life from Sesame Street like puppets. Hilarious humor from puppets! The show was great. I laughed and gasped my way through the entire show, to the point that the woman next to me thanked me for amusing her with my various noises, she had seen the show 8 times and was quite amused by my reactions!
The show was 2 one hour acts in length with a 15 minute intermission separating them. Drinking and eating is allowed in the seats, something you don’t get at your standard Broadway shows. There are several bars in the house and waitress service in the theatre itself. Certainly a great way to loosen up before you hear puppets talking in language you wouldn’t use ion front of your kids!
The show is still going strong almost 8 years later.

Very cool! I always wanted to see Avenue Q. Glad you had fun. They play their songs on Sirius XM radio all the time.
